If i can cook, you can cook!
My relationship with food and cooking has been strong my whole life! My parents owned restaurants in Toronto and there was always something delicious getting whipped up in our kitchen. I’m really not fancy when it comes to food. I’m up for trying anything, but when it comes down to it, my tastes are pretty simple.
When I started travelling solo, I found myself looking for experiences to do by myself, learning how to cook a local dish seemed like an awesome idea! I try to learn to make something everywhere I go. Now, I am by no means a professional chef, like you won’t see me auditioning for Masterchef, but its fun to learn and makes me feel connected to my family and the communities I visit! Especially when I am at home and wanting to transport myself back to one of my favourite travel destinations, cooking helps me do that! So I wanted to share some of my favourite recipes to help you travel in your own kitchen!!!
